Attendance: You are adults and are paying for this class. Attendance is YOUR responsibility. Be warned: attendance is highly recommended for success in this class- you are responsible for any and all changes to syllabus( changes of test dates, etc).  Do not skip class regularly and then expect me to catch you up during office hours.

There will be no make-up tests, unless I receive an email before or on the test day and permission has been granted. In those circumstances, the test must be made up the following class time or during office hours agreed upon .

You may attend a different class time if necessary and if this offer is not abused. Be aware some times different sections are at different places in lecture.

This is NOT an AP Stats course - the TI-83 will be incorporated lightly, I will give some basic instruction, but the rest, if desired, is up to you. Be aware that often I ask for detailed work on tests, where a numerical answer generated form the Ti-83 will not be sufficient. The calculator should be a tool to ease computing and to help you arrive at your answers.

You are responsible for lecture notes, and all readings of the book. The book will fill in gaps, provide many worked out examples etc to supplement lecture.

No Saturday make-up classes for snow, etc unless notified by me. This will “never” occur!!
