I have played piano since age 6 and violin since age 10. During undergrad, I was student concertmaster the New River Valley Symphony. After graduating from Virginia Tech, I played with the George Mason University Orchestra and Prince George's Philharmonic Orchestra in Maryland under director Ray Fowler.
While in graduate school at Cornell, I played for the Cornell Symphony Orchestra. The highlight of my tenure at Cornell was playing all nine Beethoven symphonies over a two year season. The best was Beethoven's ninth to a sold out crowd! I also played with the Cornell Chamber Orchestra as well. I enjoyed chamber and solo music under the direction of Professor Kia Hui Tan, now at Ohio State.
Sylvan and Camille love music. While in Ithaca, Sylvan and I
attended
Kindermusik classes. We are currently participating in
Young Artists Studio in Harrisonburg and Musikgarten.
I have played violin in the Charlottesville Symphony
Orchestra and currently play in the EMU Chamber Orchestra. I am very interested in
forming or joining a local string quartet, so if there are any local
string players interested, please contact me! Upcoming Concert:
