Boundary Integral Equations in Non-Smooth Domains

ABSTRACT:   A method for solving boundary value problems, such as the Dirchlet problem, on non-smooth domains is the method of layer potentials. In this talk I will discuss how I employ the techniques of layer potential operators and the tools of Mellin transform analysis to study the well-posedness of several other boundary integral equations related to mathematical physics, engineering and computer science.
