• The Basic Skills Test dates are:
  • Wednesday, September 10 in class (this is the money test)
  • First retake: Thursday, September 25, 6 pm - 9 pm, 129 Roop
  • Second retake: Thursday, October 9, 6 pm - 9 pm, 129 Roop
• The Assessment test will be given Wednesday, August 27 through Tuesday, September 9 in the Ashby lab. Here is the Word document for the Math Assessment test. Print it out and bring it to Ashby Lab when you take the Assessment test.
• Your graduate assistant, Charell Wingfield, has the following office hours in 329 Roop Hall:
  • Monday 12:30 pm - 03:00 pm
  • Tuesday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, 04:00 pm - 05:30 pm

Advice

1. Do some homework at a fixed time and in a fixed (quiet) place every day.
2. Study with other people.
3. Be open to different perspectives of each topic. Since it requires more understanding to teach something than to simply do it, you have a responsibility to learn these concepts inside out.
