I obtained my B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Nicholls State University in 1973 and 1976, respectively. My Ph.D. from Clemson University in 1984 is in mathematical sciences with a concentration in statistics.

I have been at James Madison University since 1984. I have taught a wide range of statistics courses from the elementary course to the mathematical statistics course. My main areas of interest nowadays are in statistics education and applied statistics.
